Owners Phil and Maureen Rosette have been collecting books for more than a dozen years, buying and selling online, opening the bookshop in September 2005.

Phil Rosette

 Suspense Author Phil Rosette started Birchwood Books with his wife Maureen in 1995 just as eBay was taking off, only they didn¡¯t realize that¡¯s what they had done until 2004. That was the year the volumes of books finally reached critical mass and attempted a hostile take over. Like ivy on brick, the walls were thick with bookshelves . But the Rosette¡¯s fought back valiantly and banished the books to their own house to be know from September 1, 2005 forward as Birchwood Books.  Phil is Author of The Freya Project, an international suspense novel published in 2004 by Countinghouse Press. Phil has completed a second novel, Seoul Legacy, The Orphan¡¯s Flu.  

Phil is Vice President of RMS, Rosette Marketing Services, the parent company of Birchwood Books. Phil and Maureen have been collecting books since the their teens.  We are always looking to buy collectable books.

Maureen Rosette

Cofounder of RMS, Maureen Rosette is a registered nurse, a graphic designer, avid reader and, like her husband, ¡°Mo¡± is fascinated with antiquarian books.  Mo takes a special interest of children¡¯s books.
